Birthdays
The Hello Kitty cake, I made for Chuck's 25th Birthday. Sadly it didn't make to Chuck's house looking so great. :-( The plate was the water. There was two turtles. One was out of the water and the other one is halfway out. I tried to save it but it took the turrtles head, so that is why the last picture of her cake looks really mangled.
This is the starting for Alicia's Hockey cake. The top one is the hockey stick. The bottom cakes are the puck and possibly small hockey net. More pictures to come.
And this is my cute nephew, Shayden but I didn't make his cake. It was his birthday so I had to add it, because the title is Birthdays.

October was full of weddings for me to go to. I went to 2 all day weddings and 2 receptions. One of them being my stepsister, Amanda, she got married on the 18th.

This is Chuck's Cousin, Kathy. She was married October 28. I was there to help watch kids but one of the kids would stay with me and so the dad stayed out with the kids.
Last but not lest.
Happy Halloween!

Hey all my Friends and Family,
OK so I don't like to update this often but I might try harder. Here is the update since my July trip to Texas. At the end of July we took a small trip to Ceder City. We brought Adam and Jeff with us in my car (so we filled my car to the max with Vince, mom and me plus the boys). We went to the Shakespearean festival (Taming of the Shrew). While Vince worked we all went to Zions National Park, where we hiked 7 miles (Adam and Jeff did 3 more miles).
In August we did our annual Bear Lake trip where I got the sad news that my great aunt Mary Lou died. But we had tons of fun, riding the toys, building sand castle, being lazy on the beach, and watching the Olympic at night. We should have taken this a day
earlier when most of us were there( there was 8 people that missed being in on the picture that came up).On Thursday was Mary Lou's funeral (August 14, 2008). While in the prayer room with the family Mary Lou's great-grand child Halie start crying that she didn't want grandma to go to heaven. :-( August 16 was my wards Bear Lake trip where we built a cool sand castle. But later that day
I heard the sad news about my grandma had died. :-( My thought went back to Halie when I heard the news about my grandma. Her funeral was set for Thursday the 21, which happened to be Adam's birthday. Then in August on that Sunday the 24, I got my Patriarcal blessing and Tuesday the 26, was my birthday so it at least this month it ended well. :-) There is a story that goes with that cake and here it is; so on my 21th birthday, my friend and I had a party at the Aniversy Inn that Tara and Alicia worked at. While there we wanted some munchie's and a cake for me so I
decided to drive us to the store. As we were going back I was hitting all the green lights so I kept going and but the last light was red. I was still going and in the middle of going through the light on of my friends said "Kathleen you're going through a red light!" So my thought was to stop in the middle of the road but my other friend said "keep going." Since it was late and there was no cars on this road (especially police). It all turned out good. When we got back my friends told the other that were in the room and so now when it my birthday they just say "It Kathleen's Birthday she can run a red light".

I've been missing Zoyee and Ike. I kind of wish I didn't quit my job, because I don't want to find a new job. And finally we are getting the counter top put in. That was one of the project paid for by my grandma before she died. Here are some picture from the remolding of the kitchen.:-) It has been a big mess and the sink is changing. One the photo below shows the stove and cabnet is still missing.
